Btw, are there clues of ours that you're trying to figure out?? Nah. Sue usually decodes them while Bob is hunting. We've only not found one. We were at the Bond multi about 3 weeks ago and couldn't find the second stage. I noticed that some of those stages go missing sometimes. Meant to email you about it but I just got my virus protection back working about a week ago. On qualifiying I didn't do too bad. The bonus points for the top two qualifiers bumped me up a spot Now if they can just keep the fenders on them for 400 miles.

I tell ya, it takes real gen-i-yus to choose like I did. Not only did I break Jimmie Johnson's '70-weeks-in-the-top-ten' streak (and he also finished top 10 both races last year here), I also cost the defending race champion's engine. Sheesh. Think I'll change my name to Jynx.

I'm sure glad to hear you were the cause of D.J.'s engine - I thought maybe it was me for picking him two weeks in a row.......

Rudd wasn't the only one. Did you notice that Gordon (boooooo...) was two laps down and still finished tenth. I'm just glad Jr. didn't talk anyone into letting him pit. I think their strategy was to stay out until the caution no matter what.

Yes, I noticed Jeff, and noticed that there was NObody just one lap down....and that.......etc.......

Wheeehoo! I got the pole, I got the pole! In fact, I had 3 of the top 4 - until the very last person (Kurt Busch) went and knocked Ryan out. Hoo.....

I was wondering when someone was going to get brave enough to start picking some of those rookies.
I just checked the scores and realized that I accidentally picked the wrong Labonte. Those Texas boys all look alike. Talk about not paying attention. Well, at least he's entered.

I was wondering when someone was going to get brave enough to start picking some of those rookies. After he almost won last week. Actually, when I let things like that guide me, I do badly. Mark picked him, too. I moved up 7000+ spots because I got a measly 11 pts yesterday - can you im agine??

Hey, it was nice meeting Plaidbeard's Crew Friday ;D. The autographed Nascar stuff we were saving for you cache that we were talking about was from Kelly Sutton. I thought I'd put it out here while I was thinking about it. Again, it was really great meeting you two!

Kahne is starting to look like Newman in his rookie year. I just wonder if he's going to start blowing as many engines. Hmm....I had 3 & 7 and moved up 7000+ but still dropped down a spot in our league......

You weren't the only one to drop a spot. I didn't even have a driver on the lead lap. I dropped almost 26,000 spots in the overall. I had Kahne in my lineup, but I put Sadler in at the last minute. Boy did he disappoint. I just know if I put Kahne in, though, he'll start having bad luck. I guess I'll see how NASCAR handles Everham's "nose jobs" before I decide for next week.

Any comments on my team this week are posted at the league msg. board. Errrr. Change one person and I would've done really well. Errrr.
I know I said we were going to do a new NASCAR cache with chains and locks and an ammo can here in town, but we found a place that just screamed ammo can, and it happened to be in the trunk, so.......no race quiz here. Sorry. It would have been questions such as: what number is the CAT car, Robbie Gordon's number plus Dale Jr., and Jerry Nadeau's number in 2001, the answers being the numbers to the combo lock. As I said.....oh, well, sorry.....

Now that was almost a Rockingham finish. I actually screamed. (I also did, rather loudly, in fact, when Sadler gracefully and terrifyingly took flight last year, but that was a different scream.) I tell ya, I sure have a knack. I dropped Casey Mears cuz he was floundering and he comes in 7th. I pick up Ryan cuz he won last year and he comes in 39th. I bench Elliot Sadler - say no MOAH!
