I thought it might be nice to have a place to post ideas, suggestions, comments, improvements, recipes, cures for ailments, or just plain gripes about life. Either cache related or non-cache related, msg board related or non-message board related, fat-free, sugar free, carb friendly, low calorie, it doesn't matter. I am not making any promises - ok just one promise, I "Tincup" promise to do my best, to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the law of the pack! ;D

I dunno about the sugar free, carb free, fat free, low calorie bit. You trying to take all the enjoyment out of life? I'm already on the South Beach diet. You trying to kill us all?!

South Beach diet...hmmm. I have seen that one but don't know much about it other than it is kind of like Atkins. I have lost over 30 pounds in the last 2 months. I basically cut out bad carbs and started drinking water like a camel. ;D

The South Beach Diet is very good, actually, a lot more balanced than Atkins (and no bacon and gunk like that). It's an excellent diet for the insulin resistant, like me, if one can stick to it. Come PMS time, I simply can't... I'm so terribly resistant that it takes me a month to lose two pounds (ha! no joke intended).

I'm so terribly resistant that it takes me a month to lose two pounds (ha! no joke intended). Hey, who wants to lose 2Pounds? I'm hurt!!! But the South Beach is very good. My brother in law lost 50 pounds over the last 5 months, my sister's lost 30, and my mother's lost 30. They've all been on the South Beach for a while. Now they are on the phase where they can eat almost anything, so they love it! It even allows most fruit, so it's definitely a good diet!

LMBO! Yeppers I'm real resistent to loosing 2 pounds too! hee, hee, hee......actually gained weight when I tried the Atkins ... yes, I did it exactly as it was to be done ... I've have what luck I've had with just good diet and exercise, but it doesn't come off fast enough for me ... I'm thinking about giving the South Beach a go - I need to see some flab go bye-bye!
