So that's what it looks like. Don't mean to complain about it, but we were all set to try the Spillway cache this weekend. Guess we'll have to wait until it dries out some. Imagine that.

Ohh...well, darn! Yeah, it'd be pretty muddy. Of course, that would just make you feel all the more like Indiana Jones.....right? Btw, one of the stages has sort of melted. That is, the contents have, sort of. I need to change that eventually.

AW come on now Sue ... I thought that's what caching is all about ... mud and bushwacking! ;D NOT! if you were around for my "I'm a bit of a princess" comment at the Corn meeting, when I was talking about my love of mud!

Can you tell me exactly how you use the GPS unit underwater. I'm beginning to feel waterlogged!

I'm beginning to feel waterlogged! You should try living in Concord, CA for a winter. It rains for a week at a time solid; no breaks. (Or two weeks.)

You should try living in Concord, CA for a winter. I keep seeing warnings on the Lubbock news about "urban flooding." I can't wait to see what their idea of urban flooding is . I was living near Houston during the last BIG East Texas flood. To me, urban flooding means the 18-wheelers are under water. I'll agree with 2Pounds, though. The rain is nice, but I wouldn't mind if it dried out and warmed up just long enough for me to go try that Bond multi again.

I guess it wouldn't have been that bad had the roof to our sunroom not blown off yesterday AM . I mean, the pitter patter (OK it was more than a pitter patter) of the rain outside is kinda nice, but when you're hearing it raining as bad inside your house as outside while you're moving everything as quick as possible to keep it dry, it's another thing. Every towel in the house was in use, every bucket in the house was full, and the wet vac was being used the full AM. A fun time was had by all. Maybe I needed to have an even at the house yesterday AM? ;D Maybe it'll settle down until the insurance adjuster can get here. Fun, fun, fun. At least the GPS units are safe. You know where my priorities are!

Well, lemme tell ya. First you get some plastic trash bags and lots of duct-tape, then you put 1 bag over the GPSr and another over your head... sorry, I could resist...

Do you think a ziplock bag would work just as well?
