;D A few days ago, I was notified of a missing cache out west of Hobbs - Ghost 62. I have been tied up in Lubbock on a family medical situation for a month and was not able to get out and check the cache. I disabled the cache so folks wouldn't waste their time looking in a fairly remote area.
Well, CounterStrike (a member of this forum) had printed off the cache page before I disabled it in preparation for a trip to Hobbs to visit relatives. He made the trek out to Ghost and found it gone.
Then, as he said in a private email, he couldn't stand such a nice spot being without a cache. CounterStrike dug into his own cache resources and came up with a cache container, fully stocked, to leave in place of the missing one.
This is a wonderful example of the true spirit of caching around West Texas and SE NM!!!
My thanks to CounterStrike! I hope I can repay the service someday.
Happy Geocaching!!
Jim
