Celticfest in Midland. Hamfest Midland is in March but didn't know about a Celtic fest. Tell us more. Daughter {MaireG} really likes to go to them. She used to be into SCA stuff. Bill WB5ZAM SJT

The Celtic Heritage Festival and Gathering of the Clans will be held February 18th, 19th & 20th. Friday the 18th, we open at 6P with a Celtic concert featuring many of our entertainers. The main festival runs from 10A to 10P Saturday and from 10A to 5P on Sunday. We will have vendors of all sorts of Celtic stuff, food vendors, Clan tents and lots of Celtic Entertainment. And, it will be mostly indoors. For those new to the term, Celtic refers to heritage refers to Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Brittany (a province of northern France), and Galicia (a province of northern Spain). You don't have to have any Celtic heritage to enjoy the festival! Entertainment will include bagpipes, dancers, singers, fiddlers, bagpipes, storytellers, highland dog demos, and did I mention bagpipes? The location will be on the east side of Midland at the Midland County Events Building on Business 20. For those familiar with the Midland Hamfest, it is in the same building. Our web site is www.chspb.org. If you come, stop by and say hello. I'll be the old big guy in a kilt. Oh, sorry, that probably doesn't narrow it down much. I'l likely be in the Clan Morrison booth or wandering around the festival. Cheers!

That's OK..... We're setting up a battery of anti-aircraft trebuchets filled with rotten pumpkins left over from Halloween!!!
Fly over at your own risk!!!! You may end up with an orange plane!
