I went caching a couple times last week and I have to say San Angelo has added several. I went out and got 12 in one day and still have 20ish to go localy. This is pretty nice. Glad we have several new cachers that are very active.

I agree. I've been going out caching with BigJon and we've been knocking them out like crazy and more and more are added every week. Keep up the good work guys.

Well to add my two cents: two of us local (SJT) cachers: Counterstrike (Randy) and myself WB5ZAM (Bill) are putting out easy, moderate difficulty and difficult caches every week. Someone thinks they should all be drive ups, but that takes the fun out of hiding them, and makes them prizes for the KIXY gaggle. Now the next question, moderators, what happened to the approvers? Both Randy and I have put caches out over the Christmas weekend and nothing is getting approved. It does make it difficult to put out new ones and not double into someone else when the system is not working. And BabyG.....you have to want to find a cache to find it, especially at the 3-Sisters. The new kid, Texas Rock Star, found the cache yesterday. And she had a helper or two (her kids). I have one in Eden that someone complained that the coordiantes were the middle of the street. Well, if the GPS is only showing an accuracy of 12 feet, then that is the middle of a small town street, especially if the cache is park and find. So you guys with no caches of your own, let's get busy and share the fun with others. Rubbermaid double walled soup containers run about $2, the ammo cans are about $5, and tubberware or glad have multiple sized containers available cheap. And all you have to do is ask someone with kids if they have small toys in a sack they want to throw away. I inherited two huge sacks full from just two people. Some I kept! Off to put two together for planting tomorrow morning. Cheers Bill WB5ZAM SJT

Well in response to Bill, the few times I've looked since the hint has been high traffic and I didn't want to draw too much attention so I decided to wait until later to find it. I've also been out of town and haven't done many caches in San Angelo. As for the cache in Eden, I found it on the way out of town and coordinates were right on.

Keep on hiding ... all difficulties! I love coming to San Angelo and spending the weekend caching ;D I wish I had as many diverse spots here in Midland to hide, but unfortuantely ... well we all know Midland! As to the approvers, I think we have one now that is not only for our area, but most of Texas - which is Prime Approver, unless that has changed. I'm sure with the holidays he just got "backed up" -- don't get discouraged and remember the approvers are all volunteers and sometimes they catch alot of heat over their approving/disapproving of caches .... hang in there! ;D
