I got an email today indicating that "Really it's right there..." cache located east of Andrews, TX, may be missing. I'll be checking it Monday to confirm. This is just a head's up for folks that may want to check on their caches. Hopefully we are not having a repeat of the Cache Thief Capers from last fall.
This particular cache has been found by muggles before and has been misplaced twice, so it may be something like that.
I'll post more info next week.

Well it's too far out for the radio station folk to take it. I lost 3 to the local radio station hunt for hidden cash. But after 3 weeks someone finally found it. Whew, now to put the caches back out. Cheers Bill WB5ZAM SJT

This cache is gone. It was one of the fake red geocaching rocks. Unfortunately the rock weather poorly and the color had bleached out to a shade of orange. This contrasted quite nicely with the red sand. It had been found twice before by muggles who thought it was a "pretty" rock and meant to take it home. They discovered what it was and emailed me to let me know about it. Apparently somebody has now kept the thing. I doubt it was a deliberate theft like last year. We will replace it in the future with something a bit more durable.
