I'm good here in San Angelo. New job, is lots of fun, but I work nights so its kinda hard to cache. I really need to get busy and find some of the new ones in my area. Hope all is well for everyone else.

Well I am just having a blast. Placed number 13 this morning, after replacing a replacement out at the SASP. Counterstrike rescued my original cache, but put the bottle inside the box he left. The varmit that ate the first one tried to get into the plastic Army first aid box he left, putting a 1 inch hole in the box. I replaced it all with an ammo can, so that should help. And then I noted on the GPS that the area had enough room for one more so left a small one (not a micro), out of reach of varmits, and out of sight of muggles. This park should serve well for a jump off for mountain bike to get 3 here, then Winding snake then around to the next at Highland Range (Burkett's Trail), on thru to Area ten and one there.
The North Concho lake is rising slowly. But we need another 10 inches while the ground is soaked to run off and fill it up. Long way to go.
We tried to go down to Menard County and go to the Rock Quarry and several others but the rain was so hard we were having trouble staying on the raod, so we opted for a return to SJT. Hoping for more rain, but only on the watershed and not where we need to find some more caches. Bill in San Angelo

Hey everybody. I'm new to this site so I am just checking everything out. I'm also new to geocaching on my own so if anybody is in the San Angelo area and is looking for a caching buddy let me know. I'm always looking to meet new people. Laura

Heya Babyg. Welcome to the game. San Angelo has boomed in the past year. Cachers and caches. So what do you do for a living. I am an officer, and only have a few days off a week. With the recent rains I haven't been able to cache much if any. Feel free to email me and maybe we can link up for a hunt or two. I know there are some caches that are close, that I still need to do.

I'm an ER tech and currently working on getting my nursing degree. So I'm in the same boat that you are. I work the grave yard shift 3 nights a week and go to school 3 days a week so my caching time is limited. I should be getting my GPS next week, so I plan to start doing some serious caching as soon as finals are over in about 3 weeks. So let me know when you have some free time. Baby G aka Laura

Cool will do. My schedule will settle down in about 3 weeks too, so I will defiantly be doing more caching. And with recent rains, I will need to get some maintance done.
