I have a few questions... Here they are?
Where do all of my socks go?
Why does the moon look larger at the horizon than directly over head? (and don't give me the perception therory)?
Why is a tooth ache more painful than having your spleen removed with a fork?
Where have all the good times gone?
What does the inside of my nose smell like?
How can you tell when yougurt goes bad?
When do fish sleep?
What makes Teflon stick to the pan?
What is the sound of one hand clapping?
What exactly is SPAM? (not unwanted email)

I have a few questions... Here they are? What makes Teflon stick to the pan? The same force that hold the universe together - DUCT TAPE! Guys' rule of thumb: If it moves and shouldn't - duct tape. If it doesn't move and should - WD-40

Well, you see, someone (I forget who) proved that gravity can manipulate light waves, so the lunar inhabidents set up special gravity points on the moon to camaflage their presence. Something about a defence against lesser intelligent aliens. Anyway. One of the side effects being that at highly oblique angles the graviated light waves and the atmospheric distortion of both planetoids causes the moon to look larger than it does at more "stable", i.e. 90 degree, angle. So it's not so much a difference in perception as a change in paradigm. Sometimes also known as parallax.

Or something more along the lines of: why do we park in a driveway and drive on a parkway.....

Why is it that to shut down your computer you have to click on "Start"?

PyreFlos - That is quite a perplexing conundrum. However, my feelings are that it stems from man’s inherent urge to seek absolutes in a universe that is ever changing its perception of the degrees of cognitive rational cohesiveness. There is the theory that if one can engineer intuitive convergence while realizing the synergistic synapsis of ones own potential, then you could inevitably stop all productive verbalizations. So all things being equal, the cosmic reflux that enables the universe to expand will in fact produce proportional obtuse angular distortions. These distortions can and will cause plasmatic constrictions. Most of these plasmatic constrictions are totally inert, but there is a small percentage that affect all matter and anti-matter in such a way the ending result is total interrelated oneness of one’s own intuitive capacities. ;D

According to my hubby, the reason the moon is larger at the horizon than directly over head is: "When the moon is peaking over the horizon, it doesn't realize that you can see it (much like a person slouching in a chair). When fully overhead, the moon sees you, sucks in, and tightens up (much like that same person would if noticed by an attractive member of the opposite sex). Actually, it's because of the water vapor in the atmosphere. Looking at the moon on the horizon, you are looking through more of the water vapor because of the angle. The water vapor distorts the light rays and causes it to look larger (like looking at an object through water in a glass). As the moon rises, the angle becomes less - thus less water vapor to look though, and the size 'normalizes.' (maybe he thought you really wanted to know the answer?) And now you know .... the rest of the story." ;D
