We need information quickly on the following: We'd like to hold a GPS Treasure Hunt on Memorial Weekend - several small hunts on Saturday with prizes valued between $25 and $200 and a grand hunt on Sunday with the prize a 10 acre piece of land on the ranch (value between $1500 and $3000. We need to charge a registration fee (inclusive of a barbeque, some small souvenirs, etc) and a fee per hunt. Obviously we don't want to price ourselves out of the market but we are doing this as a benefit for a ranch fund and also hospice, so we need to make some money. Would love to speak to someone/s by phone to discuss. Please email me at afridev@direcway.com. Thanks, Jack

Hmm, and we were looking for what to do on Memorial Day....! I'd like to help, but I'm afraid we're not good people to ask, as we invariably are willing to spend less than most people on these things, due to having spent a large portion of our lives under impoverished conditions.

Yes, we are discussing this in various forums. likely that we will delay this until we have a better idea from you folks who geocache regarding entry fees and hunt fees for prizes of this size. Maybe the whole thing lacks feasibility. In any case, we'd sure like to hear from more of you so we can plan something unique and rewarding for our Ranch and the geocachers. This is terrific country in which to hunt for caches.
