but I guess that's out of the question here in Midland -- oh well, at least it has seen fit to get a little cooler -- *strolls off singing "I'm dreaming of a brown Christmas, just like the one we had last year......*

Yeah, it's in the 20's right now - and it'll be in the 50's by afternoon. I would LOVE to see it snow! But crazy west Texas weather - you never know, we may have a blizzard this year but it'll wait until all the fruit trees start blooming.

Be careful what you wish for. This is the most snow I've ever seen in my lilfe . (It don't snow in Houston very often.) For anyone, like me, who's new to the area, here's a list of things I've learned today about the snow: 1. Snow on a grassy hill is slicker than snow on concrete. 2. There's mud underneath that snow on the grassy hill. 3. When the car is covered in snow, DO NOT roll down the window. 4. Snow on the rooftop will eventually melt and fall on my head in large quantaties. Any lessons that I don't have to learn the hard way will be greatly appreciated.

Plaiddie! ;D Wheehoooo, they are forecasting snow for us ... on like MAYBE Weds! It was just cold, rainy and windy here yesterday -- beats having that brown stuff blowing around.
SUE......LMBO! Lessons learned the hard way, fortunately I grew up around snow ... so I know all its "bad" habits!

Rule #5: Stay away from Amarillo during these things. This ain't nuthin' compared to two years ago. Actually, I love snow but hate the cold. Very cold intolerant, I am. I want to move to San Antonio. Or the Caymen Islands.

It's COLD. I hate cold. I'm tired of cold. You know why I like pirates? Cuz they stay where it's WARM!! At least the Caribbean ones do.
(Ok, so that's not the only reason.) Anyone want to sponsor our retirement to the Caribbean?

So, are we going to have the next cache event on a cruise or somewhere on a caribbean island?? I'd have to sell a couple of million copies of a book or two before we could do that. (If we did that, though, we'd pay everyone's way!)
