... but was thinking of still doing a planning dinner/lunch or something ... let me seek a date! Hey, Mark has a personal holiday coming up (meaning he gets a weekend off!) on the 24-26th January. Would Saturday the 24th be a good day for you to have your dinner/lunch/meal/snack/starve-no-food event/planning meeting? We could go CACHING down there all day......find some of yours (hopefully).....

As via email, let me see what I can do about the 24th, 25th is out ... I have students schedule in the AM -- well, that is after 12:00 would be good and that would give you time to get up, get here, do some caching ... hey, my brain is coming back (I've been ickie sickie) and we could have meeting afternoon'ish -- what 'cha think? I propose 25th after noon'ish for evil planning meeting I'll figure a good place for chow, make sure all my caches are in order ... and hey, maybe plant one or two new, more evil ones -- give except a few here, mine are pretty sweet!

Hey Girl ... how's Pirates shaping up -- what can I do to help you out? Quote from Ojo: When was the last time you ever saw a pirate in shape? My answer to Char: Um, er, well.......it's been.......abandoned.

Was just wondering. I see that plaidbeard refers to 9key, KM5BS refers to some guy in CO. Mine was approved by Prime Aprover, Interesting question, I think.... Who else will speaK? ........... Who approves your caches, btw?

9key used to approve for both TX & NM. Sometime in the fall, they moved NM over to the fellow that was approving for CO. He does most of the NM caches, but an occasional one shows up from someone else. I guess they have some kind of backup when they are busy. BTW, 9key came out to Lubbock for and event cache last fall - great guy! And, CO Admin (his approving name) has been very helpful on a situation we had recently with a stolen cache (not the big cache thief caper - another one). This is a refreshing change as some of us have been very frustrated trying to get replies from Geocaching in the past. Now we can send it to the approvers and get something back!

I'm glad I didn't have to type all that. Now back to our regularly scheduled topic.

We're not going to have one. There are things preventing us, which we'll talk about in dueness of time...(Mark came in just then and offered that phrase...heehee)

We may have a Panhandle II after all, but it won't be like the first. We'd just like to have a get-together, to see everyone before we go, and to meet those of you we haven't met yet. Maybe at Buffalo Springs or something.....
